Materials: tape, 2 contrasting nail polish colors (light and dark), and clear polish
Paint one layer of your light polish.
Paint on a second coat of that polish.
Wait for it to completely dry and stick on two pieces of rectangular tape with their corners matching up in the middle. Make sure that they are securely sticking on the nail.
Paint on your darker color.
After a few seconds, take of the tape carefully.
Paint on your clear coat.
